“Drug Trends in Sweden", CAN's annual report, is the widest statistical source within the drug field. It contains a review of the drug and alcohol situation in Sweden, results from drug use surveys and current statistics on alcohol sales, alcohol related mortality etc.

CAN also compiles and summarises survey findings, statistics, and other data sourced from external researchers CAN functions as a link between research and the community.

CAN annually conducts national studies of the alcohol and drug habits of school children. CAN also coordinates a corresponding study, ESPAD, including data from a majority of the European countries.
